Entering a World of Bats: Part 2 of the Story behind Kingdom of Bats

Kingdom of Bats is a story for fantasy lovers and animal lovers alike. Even if bats aren’t your thing, there are plenty of other animals encountered in the tale. In fact, in keeping with my original inspiration, two of the main characters are swallows.

The feedback I’ve received from Kingdom of Bats is encouraging. One reader told me that the book helped him see bats are really cool. Another wrote, “I thoroughly enjoyed it. The author is very open and you can sense a lot of heartfelt beauty and wonder. The characters are diverse, charming, and deep. And the writing style feels very personal.”

I also got a lot of requests for a sequel. Dwelling in Darkness somewhat filled that role, but for those who want to return to the characters of Kingdom of Bats, I have a few short stories in the works!
